    Job Description:

    We are searching for a dedicated and detail-oriented OnBase Specialist to join our team in Ottawa County. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Prior experience working with OnBase is desired, and having completed the OnBase Administration class from Hyland is also preferred.

    1. System Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for the OnBase document management system. Configure and maintain system settings, user accounts, security permissions, and workflow processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
    2. Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design OnBase solutions that meet their needs. Develop document management strategies, workflow automation, and integration solutions to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.
    3. Configuration and Customization: Customize OnBase solutions according to specific business needs using tools such as Unity Forms, Workflow Designer, and Application Enabler. Configure document types, metadata fields, and indexing criteria to facilitate document capture and retrieval.
    4. Data Migration: Plan and execute data migration projects to import legacy documents and metadata into OnBase. Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process, performing validation checks and resolving any discrepancies.
    5. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on OnBase functionality, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques. Develop training materials, user guides, and documentation to facilitate user adoption and self-service.
    6. System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system performance, health, and usage metrics to identify and address potential issues proactively. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, database optimization, and system backups to ensure system stability and reliability.
    7. Integration and Collaboration: Collaborate with IT teams and third-party vendors to integrate OnBase with other systems and applications. Develop and maintain API connections, data exchange mechanisms, and integration workflows to enable seamless data flow and interoperability.
    8. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest OnBase features, enhancements, and industry trends. Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations to maximize the value of the OnBase platform for the organization.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

    Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.

    Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.

    Prior experience working with OnBase document management system preferred.

    Completion of the OnBase Administration class from Hyland desired.

    Familiarity with document capture, indexing, and workflow automation concepts.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

    Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
