    Description
    Duties * You will research and apply laws, regulations and policies relating to personnel programs. * You will review and resolve problems regarding FEHB, FEGLI, FEDVIP, and TSP enrollments.

    * You will monitor employees in a non-pay status, ensures benefits are handled appropriately and takes any required action and resolves any problems.

    * You will determine DCPDS coding errors that affect benefits and make recommendations to processors and supervisors on correcting the record.

    * You will counsel employees about FEGLI Option C benefits and processes FEGLI Option C dependent death claims. * You will review, certify, and process designation of beneficiary forms. * You will counsel employees on Living Benefits and Assignment of Life insurance.

    * You will counsel employees on workers' compensation on the cost of FEGLI Basic and optional coverage depending on their election as a Compensationer.

    * You will review employee's service to determine employee's correct retirement and benefit coverage. * You will counsel CSRS employees on procedures and application to make voluntary contributions.     Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.


    Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

    • Experience with initiating or adding HR related information into documents, reports and/or automated personnel systems for employee benefits
    • Experience with performing data entry and reconciliation in an automated personnel system to process various types of personnel actions, retrieve and analyze information, generate documents, records, and/or reports for benefits programs and/or
