    Insight Global is seeking junior and mid-level Equipment & Tool Designers to work in Charleston, SC for a large aerospace company.

    There are multiple positions for varying shift times. These are permanent placement opportunities and will require 100% onsite work in North Charleston, SC.

    These roles fall under the Equipment and Reliability Engineering team to support and ensure the reliability of equipment and tools used in the production of large aircrafts.

    The goal for this team is to use predictive analytics and systematic problem-solving techniques to recommend the correct maintenance tasks at the right time to keep all systems running at optimal efficiency and prevent customer impacts due to downtime.

    This role requires the ability to identify short-term maintenance plans, as well as longer-term and end-of-life maintenance which is critical to the team's overall strategy.

    * Experience using Maximo or another comparable CMMS program (SAP, etc) * 1+ years of experience using Maximo or other Computerized Maintenance Software Systems * Trade school certification or education * 2+ years of experience with automation systems maintenance, robotics systems, and various types of equipment controllers, such as Siemens 840D, Fanuc, and Allen Bradley PLC's* 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (with troubleshooting system faults and developing preventative maintenance plans in manufacturing environment) * Experience supporting production equipment maintenance and reliability programs * Experience working with detailed work instructions or reading & interpreting blueprints & drawings * Associates degree from an accredited course of study, in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and/or equivalent combination of education and experience supporting equipment automation / developing reliability programs in a production setting with a high school diploma/GED * Familiarity with RCCAs and the tools used to conduct them (5 Why, Fishbone, KNOT charts, etc) * Machine compensation/alignment experience * Familiarity with RCCAs and the tools used to conduct them (5 Why, Fishbone, KNOT charts, etc)
