Job Overview
Description
We seek a Licensed Psychologist to conduct medical assessments on U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In Disability Assessments, you will electronically review behavioral health records via a secure Web Portal and conduct in-person comprehensive assessments with each Veteran.
You will also fill out Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
The Licensed Psychologist DOES NOT make disability determinations. The U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, partly based on the information in the DBQs.
This role EXCLUSIVELY conducts Disability Assessments on Veterans. You will NOT provide treatment or prescribe medication in this role.
The Licensed Psychologist will assess an average of 3 (sometimes 4) Veterans per day.
The Licensed Psychologist will be engaged as an Independent Contractor.
Schedule 5 days per week. Part-time option available.
This position requires IN-PERSON presence.
