    ** Kitchen Assistant - Pantry**

    **Description**

    In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining salad bar as well as preparing and serving other various cold food items. This position also assists in catering corporate meeting events.

    Responsibilities:

    Prepare food items for cafeteria.

    Prepare all bakery treats for breakfast

    Prepare salad and sandwiches

    Set up salad bar including preparing all necessary items for salads

    Set up and prepare specialty projects such as salads, popovers, bars, etc.

    Set up vending needs

    Assist with catered corporate meeting events.

    Set up all special party food for breaks and box lunches

    Prepare food items for catered events.

    Assist with special projects.

    Assist with other areas of the cafeteria.

    Cashier when needed.

    Assist in all kitchen areas when needed.

    Other Duties (Non Measurable)

    Support Starkey Employee Corporate and/or Department Guidelines.

    Check and verify quality.

    Support corporate health and safety objectives.

    React to change productively and handle other essential duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements

    Education:

    High school degree or equivalent required.

    Experience:

    1+ years of kitchen/pantry experience required

    Skills & Abilities

    Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. required.

    Ability to multi-task required.

    Good organizational skills required.

    Good people skills required.
