    Full/Part Time | Telework/Onsite | Idaho Falls, ID; Germantown, MD; Washington, D.C.

    Join a mission-driven team providing comprehensive contract management, agreements administration, and financial analysis support within a complex federal contracting environment. Positions under this classification support the full lifecycle of contracts, agreements, and financial assistance activities through administrative, analytical, and technical services. This posting supports multiple functional roles that work collaboratively to ensure accurate documentation, effective coordination, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting. The level and focus of responsibilities are aligned to the assigned role: Contract Management Support Specialist, Agreements Management Specialist, or Financial Analyst.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support contract, agreement, and financial assistance activities through accurate documentation, coordination, and reporting.
    • Prepare, maintain, and organize electronic and hard?copy files in accordance with established procedures.
    • Draft, route, and distribute correspondence, memoranda, and supporting documentation.
    • Gather, review, and synthesize data from multiple sources to support management decision?making.
    • Screen, respond to, and route inquiries while exercising sound judgment and discretion.
    • Schedule meetings, coordinate calendars, prepare meeting materials, and document action items.
    • Support award, agreement, and contract closeout activities by assembling required documentation.
    • Maintain records in applicable tracking systems and ensure data accuracy and timeliness.
    • Coordinate with cross?functional staff to support workload management and reporting requirements.
    • Provide backup administrative or analytical support to other team members as needed.

    Contract Management Support Specialist

    • Prepare, route, and distribute contract?related correspondence and official documentation for Contracting Officers and contract staff.
    • Maintain contract modification records and supporting documentation in acquisition systems.
    • Provide administrative and technical support to contract specialists, including support for financial assistance awards.
    • Monitor incoming correspondence and reports to identify items requiring management attention.
    • Support contract closeout activities, including documentation assembly and records validation.
    • Provide acquisition system support, including data entry and maintenance (e.g., IDMS or similar systems).
    • Assist with timekeeping support, onboarding staff into time tracking systems, and schedule coordination.

    Agreements Management Specialist

    • Support the administration, funding, monitoring, and closeout of agreements and financial assistance instruments.
    • Coordinate documentation and responses among program, legal, financial, and technical stakeholders.
    • Monitor agreement milestones, deliverables, and timelines; flag issues requiring follow?up or escalation.
    • Maintain agreement files and tracking tools to ensure completeness and compliance.
    • Prepare agreement?related reports and status updates for management review.
    • Support agreement closeout activities through documentation coordination and final reporting.
    • Maintain agreement records in applicable agreements management systems.

    Financial Analyst

    • Analyze budgets, project costs, and financial data associated with contracts and agreements.
    • Reconcile financial information across multiple systems and identify discrepancies.
    • Prepare financial reports, summaries, and trend analyses to support management decisions.
    • Support financial assistance awards by validating funding data and cost documentation.
    • Assist with contract, agreement, and award closeout by verifying financial records.
    • Track funding, expenditures, and financial commitments to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
    • Interface with financial personnel to resolve billing, reconciliation, and reporting issues.

    Education and Experience

    Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

    Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • System Knowledge: Working knowledge of federal contracting processes and FAR principles (particularly Parts 4, 13, 15, and 16); experience with acquisition systems such as IDMS, STARS or similar.
    • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
    • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
    • Core Competencies: Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast?paced environment.
