    Description

    Position Description:
    Ryerson has an opportunity for a Service Center Operator B.

    As a Service Center Operator B you are responsible for ensuring the material meets a customer's expectations loading and delivering material.

    Roles and Responsibilities:
    Pull and pick customer material orders
    Stage material utilizing forklifts and/or sideloaders
    Safely operate a crane and/or forklift to move material for outbound shipping
    Load and unload inbound/outbound trucks for delivery and drop off of material
    Maintain truck and trailer safety as outlined by the FMCSA


    • All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

    Position Requirements:

    • GED required
    • 1-3 years prior warehouse material handling experience
    • Unexpired Class C driver's license
    • Experience making customer deliveries and pick-ups Class C vehicle
    • Must have clean driving record
    • Valid FMCSA medical card

    Salary:
    $21.00-$23.00 hourly. Starting salary higher than $21.00 hourly is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale
