Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our client's team in Apex, NC as a Retail Stocking Associate.

As a crucial member of our retail operation, the Retail Stocking Associate will play a pivotal role in ensuring our store is properly stocked, organized, and ready to serve our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and cleanliness within the retail environment.

Candidates for the Retail Stocking Associate will need to support a changing schedule of opening, closing, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

Stocking and Replenishment: Receive, unload, and unpack merchandise deliveries.
Ensure all products are accurately stocked on shelves, racks, or designated storage areas.
Monitor inventory levels and promptly restock shelves to meet customer demand.
Inventory Management: Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
Notify management of any discrepancies or shortages in inventory.
Organization and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the store, including aisles, storage areas, and backrooms.
Keep merchandise displays neat and visually appealing.
Ensure all safety and sanitation standards are upheld.
Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of the products sold in the store to assist customers with inquiries and locate items efficiently.
Stay updated on product features, promotions, and pricing.
Customer Service: Provide friendly and helpful customer service by assisting shoppers with locating products, answering questions, and offering recommendations when needed.
Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally and escalate complex issues to management when necessary.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure smooth store operations.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to coordinate tasks and prioritize workload.
Perform cashier duties as needed.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in retail or stocking preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
