    Machinist

    WeatherTech Direct is seeking well-qualified Machinists who specializes in fabricating custom injection mold bases. This is a 2nd shift position with a schedule of 2pm - 10:30pm, M-F.

    As a Machinist, you will

    • Fabricate custom injection mold bases using Haas CNC machines
    • Use CNC machines, manual machines, and other hand and power tools to repair and update mold tools
    • Perform all assigned machine shop operations needed to make mold tools that meet precise specifications
    • Make adjustments to machines to control speed, material feed and path of the cut, as well as make sure machines are set up properly, working well, and producing quality products
    • Confirm machines are working at full capacity, are stocked with needed materials, and are well-maintained as well as perform periodic checks on output
    • Follow company safety rules and keep designated work area in a clean and orderly condition
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualified Candidates will

    • Have 5+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a tooling/machine shop environment
    • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Possess an apprenticeship or certification/associate's degree or equivalent experience
    • Have experience building custom injection mold bases
    • Have experience using Haas CNC machines
    • Be familiar with a variety of CNC machines, manual machines, and hand/power tools
    • Be mechanically inclined and should understand basic math
    • Have experience using CAM and NX CAM Software a plus
    • Be proficient with Microsoft Office
    • Be authorized to work in the United States
