Job Description
Job DescriptionReceptionist needed for Medical Office/Spa - Busy plastic surgery office and medical spa is seeking full time receptionist for long-term employment.
The right candidate is a hard worker, problem solver, trustworthy, and is passionate about making people happy It's also important for the right candidate to have a solid interest in the beauty industry, skin care, and makeup as well as cosmetic surgery and the medical field. Will train the right person. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Checking in and checking out patients efficiently and warmly, gathering medical history. Operate multiple phone lines, handle cash, check, and credit card payments, educating patients on services and products, maintain inventory of skin care products, supplies, and equipment, assist with various marketing activities, assist with laundry, maintain cleanliness of waiting room, reception area, and other areas as needed, filing and organizing, assist service providers when needed, must read, understand, and adhere to all policies and procedures of the Physician Services Practice, adhere to the code of conduct, philosophy and mission and value statement, perform numerous other duties as required.
Our office is open Monday through Friday 9 am to 6:00 pm. Candidate's hours will be 10:30 to 6:30, Monday through Friday.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Outstanding interpersonal skill with co-workers, physicians, and patients. Must be able to work well in a very busy environment and also be proactive during down-time. Must love working with and helping people. Should be an excellent multi-tasker, organized, efficient and articulate with excellent phone skills.
