    Senior Planner- Onsite Position

    We have a rewarding opportunity for a Senior Planner to join our growing team in Santa Clarita, CA


    As our Senior Planner you will be responsible for plannings, scheduling, coordinating and/or monitoring final approval of products through the complete production cycle.

    You will work from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements and coordinate production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.

    Salary Range:
    $ 91, $121,350.00 per year

    Your Challenge

    Develops and maintains detailed schedules, production plans and material requirements lists in accordance with the Master Production Schedule, for products, proposal efforts and/or production processes.


    Coordinates Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Material Control, Quality and other departments to achieve optimum utilization of facilities in meeting production schedules.


    Work with Engineering, operations, and management to plan timing of new product introductions and incorporate First article builds into the production schedule.

    Provides input to management regarding problems such as scheduling problems, material shortages, design changes and backlogs.

    Releases and maintains all appropriate paperwork.

    Develop and Support efforts to streamline production and processes as applicable.

    Provides direction and leadership with capacity planning and constraint-based planning.

    Proactively help the Operations team prepare for upcoming Jobs by checking availability of kits, programs, tooling, materials, etc.

    Utilize MRP/ERP and other tool to ensure work is scheduled and prioritized accurately and efficiently, and resources allocated appropriately.


    What you Bring:
    Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experiences of 5-10 years at planning and master scheduling.

    4-6 years of Stockroom, Expediter, and Capacity planning experience

    Experience using MRP/ERP systems, preferably SAP.

    APICS CPIM certification highly preferred

    Familiarity with LEAN, Six Sigma and Kaizen concepts

    Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Experience working with teams on the shopfloor to coordinate and implement schedules.

    Works within approved budget, contributes to profits and revenue, and conserves organizational resources.
