- Facilitate and collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT Investments across the Joint environment
- Provide support for Enterprise-wide system integration projects
- Refine and improve the IT acquisition, development and operational sustainment program for the JS CIO
- Proactively coordinate across the Deputy Directorate CIO and its members to assist with improving the overall quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the JS CIO policies
- Establish and implement strategic initiatives and IT management best practices to ensure all JSIT Investments have well-planned transition plans to each phase of the emerging technologies to include but not limit to migration to cloud, records management, IPv6 and 5G solutions
- Maintain an effective means of communication across multiple JS portfolio managers, including owners of applicable software, data centers and technical support agreements, as required
- Present plans to the government and support the JS method of tracking execution of their plans
- Support CIO collaboration with JS IT Portfolio Managers and Information System owners on the JS IT Investment policy and enable the documentation of supporting procedures
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the development and delivery Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for IT Investments
- Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience. Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- Experience working in any of the military branches of the Department of Defense, Joint Staff, or COCOM experience
- Familiarity with cloud technologies
- Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture
- Familiarity with AI
- Project management experience
- Project Management certification
- Experience working in the Joint Staff or a military environment
- Top Secret clearance is required to start; Ability to obtain a TS/SCI is required to maintain employment

A Top Secret Clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI. This position is 100% onsite in Arlington, VA.
