Description
Our client, an EPC company, is looking for Project Managers to support projects including LNG, Cryogenic Systems, Clean Energy, Carbon Capture and Midstream.
The role resides in the engineering organization and requires close interaction with the sales, supply chain, quality, manufacturing and service teams to ensure designs meet cross functional requirements.
In this role you will maintain project schedules and regularly meet with team members to review project status, prioritize activities and plan future actions.
This position plays a key role in managing engineering deliverables with both internal and external customers.Responsibilities:
Lead teams through the projects
Anticipate potential schedule delays and initiate plans for alternative actions as needed
Rearrange competing priorities to ensure all deadlines are met
Work professionally and cooperatively in a cross-functional team environment with a focus upon maximizing system performance and customer satisfaction
Hold financial responsibility for the management and projections for Engineering, Procurement and Construction cost activities to include all Engineering activities/deliverables, all Procurement activities (material, equipment, and subcontractors), all Construction activities (cost performance) activities, and all Start-Up activities (material, equipment, subcontractors, deliverables and cost performance) activities
Deliver effective communication to all internal and external customers (Project Team, Owner, Partners, Vendors, etc.), including reporting regarding performance metrics and progress related to Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Start-up.
Coordinate and leads Project review meetings with the owner and/or partner(s)Report monthly, or as requested, to the Owner, EPC Project Management Committee (if applicable) and Projects Group Management
Play a major role in the Projects Business Development activities related to the customer, vendor and partner
Play a major role in coordinating proposal development activities during EPC Project bidding phase including execution planning, scheduling, cost preparation, procurement planning, contract review and negotiations
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or a related field of study
Supervisory experience strongly preferred
Minimum of three (3) years of project management experience ion EPC projects
Experience in a customer facing environment preferred
Computer and software systems skills as applicable to position including but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Outlook
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills
Dynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and stakeholders
Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively
Ability to role model high standards of professionalism
Excellent follow-through
Must be driven and self-motivated
