About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sourcing to spearhead the development and execution of global sourcing strategies for its proprietary brands and exclusive apparel and footwear lines. This pivotal role involves building a sourcing and development function from the ground up, with a focus on supporting the company's vision for brand growth and product innovation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all sourcing, production, and vendor management processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality products, competitive pricing, and on-time delivery. Key responsibilities include leading a sourcing team, maintaining strong relationships with key vendors, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing, production processes, and supply chain efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will have over 15 years' experience in apparel sourcing, with a proven track record in managing sourcing strategies for large-scale apparel brands or retailers. They should possess a deep knowledge of global sourcing markets, supply chain best practices, and vendor negotiations, and have experience in sustainability initiatives and responsible sourcing practices. The role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on operational approach, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, and a passion for the outdoors and familiarity with the customer base is highly valued. The candidate should be a results-driven, customer-focused leader, capable of building and leading a high-performing team, and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
