This Position Is Located on the Island of Maui, State of Hawai'i As a Airport Law Enforcement Officer - Armed Patrol in Kahului, HI you will serve and safeguard the airport its facilities its travelers and airport operations You will interact with the public provide outstanding customer service and communicate clearly while upholding our values of teamwork integrity and putting people firstResponsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and render immediate appropriate decisions under stressful conditions
- Maturity in conduct behavior attitude Alertness attentiveness professional conduct Ability to recognize respond take appropriate corrective actions various situations Strong moral character Must possess high standards truthful Ability effectively communicate verbally writing English Courtesy inter-person relationships public airport employees tenants law enforcement security personnel LEOs may be required provide court appearance citations issued behalf DOTA Contractor shall provide replacement staffing LEOs required attend court proceeding
