- Develop and maintain faculty psychiatry practice;
- Provide psychiatric consultations for patients as requested by community physicians;
- Actively participate in medical staff and affiliate hospital committees;
- Supervise NP or PA as required
- Complete all medical record documentation requirements as specified in the medical staff rules and regulations on a concurrent basis;
- Participate in emergency center call schedule as required.

The Mercer University School of Medicine is seeking a Psychiatrist to perform full-time in a clinical practice at one of the Mercer Medicine rural clinic locations in Putnam County, Eatonton, Georgia.This position is expected to maintain a financially viable clinical practice at a Mercer Medicine rural clinic. This is a 12-month faculty position that will report to the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director for the Physician Practice Plan.

Applicants must have completed an approved general psychiatry residency, be board eligible/certified in general psychiatry and eligible to obtain a Georgia medical license. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
