- Proven ability in a data analysis role (minimum 7-9 years experience)
- Strong analytical and communication skills, as well as a solid grasp of the organizational structure supporting implementation and ongoing projects
- Strong SQL skills to query and script in data
- Data Exchange knowledge and analysis skills to lead, execute, or assist on all assigned work throughout the project; examples of projects: implementation of a new client or Corporate Actions
- Defined Benefits knowledge required
- Excellent analysis skills, preferably data analysis skills, are required
- Solid experience with query languages such as SQL
- Experience with ETL Tools (i.e. Informatica) is a plus
- Should have proven general experience programming languages and relational databases

- Navigating the organization, bringing together interested parties, negotiating differences, and drawing effective conclusions

The Purpose of Your Role
The Engineer will primarily be focused on supporting client implementations and corporate actions. They will lead the effort to update a client s data once it s in production. The candidate must be proficient in data analysis, systems analysis or implementation analysis capabilities and be able to work between multiple update requests at a time.
The Team
The Defined Benefit organization provides companies with the expertise and convenience of a single provider to administer their DB plans which promises to pay specified pension payment, lump-sum or combination thereof on benefits to participants at retirement that is predetermined by a formula based on the employee's earnings history, tenure of service and age, rather than depending directly on individual investment returns.\u00A0
For administering these DB plans, our team plays a key role in converting data from the prior record keeper to Fidelity's systems. As part of these implementations, we get along with Clients, Prior record keepers and internal business/operations partners.
