**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
Using forklift and/or pallet jacks to move and load freight
Receiving of vendor receipts and transfers
Inspects materials for nonconformities, following non-conforming process if necessary
Uses the warehouse management system utilizes scanners to maintain accurate inventory
Wrap pallets securely for shipment
Preparation of hazardous materials for shipment, including completing DOT HAZMAT paperwork as necessary
Pack cartons correctly and stack cartons on pallets
Transfer bulk products into drums, totes and pails
Follows work instructions according to company policies and procedures
**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education:** High School diploma or equivalent
**Experience/Training:**
Must have attention to detail
High Level of flexibility
Knowledge of quality management systems
Knowledge of inspection processes
Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions in English
Must be able to perform basic mathematical skills
One or more years in a warehouse setting recommended
**Licenses/Certificates:** Forklift certification recommended this role will be certified within the Lube-Tech safety guidelines
**Technology/Equipment:** Working knowledge of a Warehouse Management System or ERP system preferred.
**PHSYCIAL DEMANDS & WORKING ENVIRONMENT**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently asked to speak, hear, stand, sit, and/or use both hands to handle, or touch objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to walk, bend, distinguish colors or use repetitive movement for certain tasks. The employee must be able to lift and carry 25 to 60 lbs. occasionally and lift more than 60lbs. intermittently. Personal Protective Equipment must be used intermittently while working with certain hazardous materials. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
Work is performed in a warehouse setting. Noise level is moderate to loud. Although the warehouse is climate controlled, the employee will need to be able to adapt to different climate changes. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
