    Job DescriptionDescription:

    Purpose:

    To direct work efforts on the Maintenance shop and Production Floor at MNA-MUSe. The Maintenance Supervisor organizes, coordinates and supervises the Maintenance technicians to meet and improve throughput, quality and production requirements in the most efficient and economical manner.

    Requirements:

    Essential Duties:

    · Maintains close communication with the Lead Maintenance Supervisor and the production scheduling function to facilitate the efficient utilization of the plant equipment.

    · Ensures that all relevant maintenance data is collected and processed in a timely manner.

    · Procures and schedules manpower in accordance with MNA-MUSe maximum manpower guidelines.

    · Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance technicians and offer support for all preventative maintenance, repair, installation, and removal of parts from machines and equipment.

    · Coordinates with the Maintenance Leader the proper training of hourly employees in the areas of safety, quality, conduct and machine operation.

    · Coordinates with Production the preventative maintenance and repair of equipment

    · Coordinates hourly employees to fill the daily and weekend work schedule.

    · Pending supervision coverage, may need to cover different shifts as needed, in case of absenteeism.

    · Supports the Company's Policies, Procedures and Mission Statement

    · Coordinates with the oncoming shift to an effective an efficient transition between shifts

    · Promotes and encourages participation in the Suggestion Program

    · Maintains Company facilities, equipment, tools and gages in appropriate and acceptable condition.

    · Represents the Company to customers, clients and the public as required.

    · Sets an example of professionalism, fairness and conduct.

    · Performs special assignments as delegated.

    Reporting Relationship: Reports to LEADMAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR .

    Education / Skill / Experience Requirements:


    • One (1) to Three (3) or more years of experience as Maintenance Supervisor


    • Three (3) to Five (5) or more years of experience as Maintenance Technician


    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent


    • Technical degree from an Accredited Technical Institute


    • Working knowledge of automotive industry


    • Automotive manufacturing experience


    • Knowledge of production robotics


    • Knowledge of conveyor systems Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities.


    • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems


    • Knowledge of both hand and power tools


    • Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) techniques
