Do you thrive in a team environment and enjoy the technical aspects of the sales cycle? We are hiring a Jr. Sales Engineer to join our Sales team

    Junior Sales Engineer Base salary: $50,000 - $60,000 + UNCAPPED commissions.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Provide quotes for 150kW generators and below.
    • Manage large amount of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.
    • Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Prepare cost estimates with engineers, architects, and other professional and technical personnel.
    • Provide technical and engineering information to both clients and contractors.
    • Responsible for improvements through analyzing cost -benefit ratios for equipment, supplies or service applications; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials and/or services.
    • Contribute to sales engineering by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience with high volume inbound and outbound calls.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Experience reading and understanding blueprints, schematics and related documents.
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent sales and customer service skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

    Education/Experience:

    • B.S. in Electrical, Application, Mechanical or Power Generation and/or 3-5 years of previous industrial sales or product training experience with electric equipment, preferably generators, switch gear or building management systems.
    • Minimum 1-year B2B sales experience.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
