    We are seeking a seasoned Network Engineer with over 8 years of experience to enhance our client's network monitoring and management environment.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, installing, and customizing network tooling products in alignment with enterprise-grade models and best practices.

    Proficiency in Broadcom (specifically CA Spectrum/DX-Netops/CAPM and related components) and Cisco applications is essential. Experience with Cisco Thousand Eyes, Cisco Splunk, AppNeta, and Ignio is desirable but not mandatory.

    The role demands a solid understanding of network performance management and the ability to manage large network infrastructures, conduct system analysis, and coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to procure network products and manage upgrades and maintenance.

    Additional skills in Python, Ansible, GitHub, and business intelligence tools like Excel or PowerBI will be advantageous.

    responsibilities:

    • Responsible for contributing to the development of Client's network monitoring and management environment, which will require understanding of standard models used to both architect and design large enterprise solutions to monitor and handle network infrastructure.
    • Extensive experience and solid understanding of various commercial network performance management vendors and products. More specifically, this will include, but may not be limited to, Broadcom (formally CA Spectrum/DX-Netops/CAPM and related components), Cisco Thousand Eyes, Cisco Splunk, AppNeta, and Ignio.
    o Cisco and Broadcom apps are required.
    o Others listed above are desirable but not required.

    • Extensive knowledge of and experience with the concepts, strategies, technologies, protocols, standards, applications, and tools vital to build a premier network management environment that delivers the transparency, reporting, dashboarding, and data analytics needed for accurate network performance, fault, and capacity management.
    • Experience in installation, operation, and customization of network tooling products in accordance with customer requirements and best practices.
    • Experience figuring out and crafting the vital infrastructure changes to support the operation and requirements of network management and monitoring applications. In addition, working with Client change control personnel, submitting changes, acquiring approval, and implementing the needed changes to support the vital requirements within the Client enterprise.
    • Proven knowledge and experience managing large network infrastructure similar in size to Client.
    • Responsible for scheduling upgrades and maintenance of management and monitoring toolset in accordance with Client change control and approval processes.
    • Providing technical direction and training to Client networking personnel on the use/operation of Client network monitoring and management applications.
    • Working with product vendors and Client purchasing for procurement of selected products
    • Analyze system functions and failures to isolate and define problem areas.
    • Monitor the reachability of all connections within the network adhering to circuit restoral priorities and working in conjunction with Client operations personnel to restore full network operation.
    • Provide both onsite and remote technical participation vital to insure the continuing operation and optimization of the network.
    • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
    • 8 plus years' experience working with Networks.
