Essential Job FunctionsLead the development of the companys annual operating budget for supported businesses.
Monitors budget performance compared to plan and alerts managers to potential issues.
Assists with the preparation of monthly performance metrics and executive reporting packages.
Drive decisions by providing analytical support through forecasting, performance metrics, and ad hoc analyses.
Improve existing finance processes to accelerate analysis for the proactive identification of business risks and opportunities.
Active member on cross-functional teams by providing the analytical support necessary to add value to the business.
Identifies process improvement and cost-saving opportunities and recommends appropriate action steps to realize savings.
Works with Information Technology staff to establish corporate performance reporting mechanisms to track and report key financial metrics.

Education & ExperienceBachelors degree in accounting, business, finance, or equivalent in education and work experience.

Five years+ accounting or finance required related experience, preferred in a distribution environmentCompetencies Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesProficient in Word and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of Oracle E1 JDE helpfulStrong organizational and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven track record of challenging the status quo and driving business performance through financial analytics.
