    Account Manager

    Palziv North America – Louisburg, NC

    Palziv North America, an international leader in the cross-linked foam manufacturing industry, is seeking an Account Manager in Louisburg, NC. Palziv manufactures products that are used in the automotive, packaging, building products, recreational and medical industries. This is a newly added position due to the growth of our business and diversification of our customer base. This position works with flooring, consumer goods and building products that are sold to consumers through DIY, big box retailers, .com, wholesale clubs and distributors. The Account Manager will report to the leader of the Consumer Products Business. In this role, the Account Manager will work directly with customers and other team members within the Consumer Products Division.

    Account Manager: Services the daily needs of our business, including, but not limited to the following tasks and responsibilities:
    • Provide excellent service to customers to ensure they have a positive experience and receive the products or information they need.
    • Become a subject matter expert regarding products and technical information and communicate in a clear and concise way to customers.
    • Provide day-to-day customer operational support including processes orders on a daily basis using customer and internal systems
    • Work as a liaison between Customers, Operations, Quality, Materials and Sales, overcoming obstacles to ensure mutual benefit
    • Attracts potential customers/consumers by answering product and service questions
    • Manages large retail account transactions
    • Create and maintain accurate customer master data, including customer records and customer-material information.
    • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
    • Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments and disputes
    • Manages sales service team requests for marketing materials (in-store displays, literature, order replenishment)
    • Executes distribution of promotional, product, and educational materials to customers, stores and contractors
    • Processes orders and follows up with corresponding departments to ensure on-time delivery. Track order activity and alert appropriate staff/customer of any potential delivery problems.
    • Prepares weekly sales reports for each customer channel; provide tracking information for e-comm business
    • Completes invoicing for all Customer shipments
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Wear "multiple hats" to support the team by taking on special projects in areas such as shipping, order picking, or assembly.
    • Provides Customer Service for Canadian Customers
    • Performs other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
    Requirements / Skills:

    Associates Degree or higher and/or Relevant Experience

    Customer Relationships & Service, Meeting Goals, Self-Confidence, Product & Market Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Self-Motivation, Quality Focus, Problem Solving, Phone Etiquette, Initiative, Positive Attitude, Resolving Conflict, Analyzing Information, Multi-tasking, Ability to work independently, Willingness to work with others, Strong written and verbal communication skills, Microsoft experience with the willingness to expand skill set.

    Manufacturing / industrial environment with retail experience strongly preferred. Consumer Products, Home Depot or Lowe's experience a plus.

    *Must be able to pass criminal history, information background check and drug screen.
