    Kite is seeking a highly motivated individual with warehouse and related supply chain experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry. The Specialist II will support Kite s goal in commercializing innovative T cell therapy for cancer treatments. This role requires operational support to the Associate Director of Supply Chain (3PL and Global warehouse operations).

    Responsibilities include but not limited to receiving, inventorying and transferring Raw Materials and Work in Process materials between the 3PL and Kite.

    This individual will to support key Supply Chain tasks, necessary to support commercial and clinical operations.

    Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
    Coordinate and execute material movement transactions within an ERP system
    Coordinate and execute receiving transactions within an ERP system
    Complete inventory transactions in an ERP system including inventory adjustments
    Coordinate disposal of the inventory with 3PL and third-party
    Assisting in the completion of Deviations, Corrective Actions, and Change Controls
    Revise and review GMP documents including SOP s and forms
    Continuously refines and improves 3PL and Kite processes and interaction
    Maintain accurate inventory between Kite and 3PL facilities
    Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
    Uses approved methods to make decisions in line with company goals and objectives
    Assists in identifying warehouse key performance indicators (KPI s)
    Maintains and reports out on warehouse key performance indicators
    Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
    Contributes to the development of complex new concepts, techniques, and standards
    Ensures GMP compliance and safe work practices
    Ensures training is up to date
    Other duties as assigned


    Requirements:
    Associates degree, relevant trade certification, and some college or vocational training in science, engineering or facilities preferred
    Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in GMP Warehouse Logistics, Distribution and Supply Chain preferred
    Ability to work with multiple database and electronic systems. Experience with Oracle/SAP/ERP, warehouse management, courier, and material ordering portals, considered a plus
    Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills and problem-solving capability
    Understanding GMP regulations applicable to warehouse and transportation
    Demonstrates an in depth understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards along with an in-depth knowledge of industry practices
    In depth experience in Microsoft Excel (ability to create reports, understand and create formulas)
    Past experience with facilitating and managing projects
    Ability to problem solve independently or as a team
    Experience in writing SOPs & Forms
    Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities
    Self-motivated and willing to accept temporary responsibilities outside of initial job description
    Able to work after hours
