    Business Development Associate

    We are currently looking for a Business Development Associate with experience in the e-scrapelectronics recycling industry to grow our new customer sales revenue from new accounts prospects. The Business Development Associate will work with other Business Development associates and unit coordinator to grow current and new customers for Stream Recycling within defined objectives as designated with a sales revenue budget. This includes establishing strong relationships with customers; building knowledge of their needs; soliciting orders for goods or services in person and over the telephone; Interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services; and resolving customer complaints. The Business Development Associate also manages and maintains customer records and interaction activity with current and new potential customers at SRS and manages unique account management reporting requirements established by the Operations Manager.

    Responsibilities:

    • Purchase electronic scrap and circuit boards for recycling.
    • Explain to existing customers and new potential customers products or services and prices, and answer questions they may have;
    • Maintain computerized customer and prospect Company CRM system by obtaining and entering customer contact, opportunity profile and other key information into the CRM;
    • Assist with establishing specific segment campaigns and work with VP Business Development executing specific campaigns to solicit new business from potential customers including, but not limited to, research on specific market segment customer targets establishing working campaigns.
    • Develop and prepare sales tactics and materials that present Stream Recycling's products and services, in a manner which to persuade potential customers to purchase a product or services.
    • Develop and deploy relationship management tactics with key customer contacts; obtain names of other influencers, decision makers, and approvers within account to position Stream Recycling value propositions. Responsible for setting next action and execution.
    • Identify and record within the company CRM system current position and various sales tactics of the sales opportunities within each phase of the customer defined decision making process.
    • Adjust sales scripts and messaging to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals and customer needs.
    • Communicate effectively with Stream Recycling management and customer's management based on tactical level issues.
    • React to customer requirements outside of standard product services offered by Stream Recycling when warranted by profiling needs and requirements and effectively working these objectives with VP Business Development, or Executive management for resolution.
    • Contact applicable businesses and/or entities by telephone pursuant to special projects assigned by the Regional Management.
    • Identify and suggest process improvements as necessary to maintain high quality, efficient processes across all tasks.
    • Other job-related tasks as assigned.

    What you need to succeed:

    • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
    • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
    • Advanced user expertise of company CRM system.
    • Must have good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook,
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to modify message delivery to meet varying needs of customers.
    • Ability to organize and manage time, predicting and meeting changing demands as necessary.
    • Travel requirements: 75% of time

    What Will Give You a Competitive Edge:

    • Experience in electronic recycling and/or high-level multistate operations in fields related to recycling.
    • Two more years of Sales or Purchasing experience.
    • Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business, or related preferred.
