    Description
    Support current staff with analysis support in the area of fluid & thermal sciences Analysis consists of using own, in-house, and commercial tools to understand product performance associated with thermal and fluid challenges Plan work for technical approach, cost, and schedule Gather input data, develop models, debug models, validate models, run modes, and interpret results Develop reports that describe work and present findings Present work to teammates in in-person and virtual meetings Review the work of others in support of their efforts


    Skills required:
    Working experience with basic engineering tools such as programming languages (C++, Python), integrated toolsets (Matlab), and commercial analysis codes (Ansys system of codes) Written and verbal communications to individuals and teams Ability to productively and respectfully work in team environments Ability to develop first-principal physics-based models Ability to validate and debug large, commercial-code models


    Skills Preferred:
    Working experience with Ansys APDL


    Experience required:
    Previous work experience in engineering organization performing physics-based analyses in thermal/fluids area Previous direct work with experienced engineers


    Experience preferred:
    Lab- and/or test-related including planning, instrumentation, execution, and data reduction activities


    Education req:
    Bachelor's degree in ME, Aero, or ChemE with coursework demonstrating focus and success in thermal/fluids-related coursework


    Education pref:
    Master's degree in ME, Aero, or ChemE with coursework demonstrating focus and success in thermal/fluids-related coursework
