    Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG), a management consulting firm based in Bethesda, MD, is seeking a Federal Project Director with a Meeting Planning and Logistics background to support a project for the U.S.

    Department of Education.

    Candidates will join a dynamic team of consultants working together to deliver best-in-class solutions to our current federal sector clients while expanding our portfolio of clients and projects.

    The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills in managing similar projects, have exceptionally good management and organizational expertise, and must have strong written and oral communication skills.

    Additionally, well-qualified candidates should demonstrate a deep commitment to approaching this work with an equitable lens.

    Job Responsibilities/Duties


    Serve as a project and task leader, working with subject matter experts, project staff, and the client to establish and enact a vision.

    Work effectively with subject matter experts to translate their expertise and navigate their availability into the development of high-quality products and services for a range of audiences.

    Independently and proactively identify problems, areas for continuous improvement, and to successfully resolve issues or put new processes in place to make those improvements.

    Coordinate teams and manage work from vision to final execution.
    Oversee the development of technical assistance resources such as papers, reports, manuals, online tutorials, webinars, and resource guides.
    Ensure a high quality of work through strong attention to detail.
    Be comfortable in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment with a proven ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
    Minimum ten years of experience required; 15 years preferred.
    Must have substantive knowledge federal procurement, especially relating to the Department of Education
    Must be proficient in designing and delivering high-quality, high-impact meeting planning and logistics services to a range of stakeholders.
    Must be knowledgeable about the projects and activities of the U.S. Department of Education
    Must be highly proficient in MS Office suite and willing to learn new technologies.
    Must have experience in developing proposals, either for federal, state, or foundation
