Adfinitas Health has an opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Certified Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Bel Air, MD.

8am – 6pm Daily staff of 10 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers.

Training is provided for this position; applicants must have an active Maryland license and Acute certification (family medicine certification is not eligible for this position).

Adfinitas Health offers an intense months-long Onboarding program designed to trainPhysician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to autonomously provide highquality patient care in the hospital setting as part of the hospitalist team.

Clinicaltraining consists of three phases – Hospital/Patient Orientation, CloselySupervised Patient Care, and Supervised Patient Care.

An onboarder will be paired with a designated Clinical Trainer for on the job training, as well as attending biweekly didactic training sessions.

At the end of the training program, a successful candidate will join the hospitalist group as an autonomous member of the team for a minimum commitment of two years.

Our hospitalist team provides inpatient internal medicine care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds and planning for discharge.

Follow all established policies for maintenance and signing of medical records.
Contribute to the achievement of department goals and adhere to policies, procedures, and quality and safety standards.
Graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
Active state license, American Heart Association CPR Certification, DEA License, state Controlled Substance Registration
