    About the Position

    The Universal Banker at Old Second plays a vital role in providing top-notch customer service. Responsibilities include opening and closing accounts, customer profiling, sales initiatives, and basic teller tasks.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Meet sales and service targets through engaging in sales processes and building customer relationships.
    • Accurately handle customer accounts following established policies.
    • Provide expertise on Old Second products and services to customers.
    • Maintain high levels of customer service for top ratings.
    • Be flexible to assist as a Teller when required.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulations and complete necessary training.

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent with one year of relevant experience.
    • Must obtain NMLS registration within 60 days of starting and complete Bank training.
    • Onsite work is mandatory for this role.

    Key Skills

    • Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills.
    • Promote products and services effectively.
    • Basic math and computer proficiency.
    • Understanding of banking processes.
    • Ability to multitask and stay organized.
    • Reliable and committed to work.
    • Knowledge of bank regulations.
    • Preference given to candidates with a degree or prior teller/personal banker experience.
