    Description

    Our client is a global conglomerate with diversified product portfolio. They have state of the art R&D, manufacturing and robust sales and service network across the world. One of the verticals is a Multi Bilion Dollar business, which has a product range of chemicals which have a wide application in the food manufacturing and R&D industry which in turn help the sea food, aqua and other industries.

    They are currently looking for an individual, with a proven track record in business development of products/solutions to the food Industry, with established contacts, who can increase their business and also bring in new clients in the North America region. The role can be based either in Chicago or in Detroit and involves both Domestic and International travel

    The ideal candidate will be passionate, self-motivated and detail-oriented team player who is committed to the success of our client, by identifying new applications for the range of products they manufacture which are aimed to increase productivity in the food products. The focus will be on growing and developing existing clients, as well as generating new business by identifying, implementing and executing new strategies.

    Responsibilities;

    Operate as the primary point of contact for key account stakeholders

    Develop a trusted advisory relationship with all the food industry accounts, customer stakeholders and internal partners.

    Proven experience in developing applications for the products, and ability to discuss with the research teams both at clients and internally to develop new products and solutions which can benifit their clients yield/output

    Prepare and guarantee monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts

    should be able to identify new applications, new clients and also manage the existing relations.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Chemical/ food industry domain.

    10-15 years of relevant sales/BD work experience and a thorough understanding of the food Industry, ingredients and the chemicals in the North America Region.

    Ability and proven experience of working as Individual Contributor and as a team leader.

    The role can be based either in Chicago or Detroit and can be flexible depending on the preference.
