Duties: Cook Helper

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to help with cooking and preparing delicious burritos and hamburgers in our cozy kitchen. Having previous experience is a bonus. The Cook Helper will be responsible for creating dishes from scratch, seasoning meats, ordering supplies, maintaining records, setting menu prices, and ensuring stations are well-stocked.

Cook Duties and Responsibilities:

• Setting up, cleaning, and organizing workstations.
• Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
• Preparing oven, utensils, and grill for the shift.
• Taking orders from wait staff or a computerized system.
• Cooking orders following food health and safety regulations.
• Suggesting ideas for specials or seasonal dishes.
• Managing multiple food orders simultaneously.
• Dressing dishes for a visually appealing presentation.
• Properly storing all food items.
• Sanitizing and maintaining cleanliness of workstations and utensils.
• Restocking kitchen supplies as needed.
