    CritiCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate paraprofessional to assist in providing quality educational support to students with diverse needs.

    Role Overview

    You will work closely with teachers to create an engaging and inclusive atmosphere that fosters student learning and development, supporting students academically and socially while ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Classroom Support: Assist teachers in implementing classroom activities and lesson plans.
    • Individual Support: Provide one-on-one support to students during lessons and assignments.
    • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document student progress and behavior.
    • Learning Environment: Help create a positive learning environment.
    • Group Instruction: Facilitate small group instruction as needed.
    • Student Support: Support students with special needs in achieving their educational goals.
    • Communication: Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
    • Professional Development: Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

    Requirements

    • Previous Experience: Previous experience in an educational setting is preferred.
    • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
    • Adaptability: Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities.
    • Patient Attitude: Patience and a nurturing attitude are essential.
    • Organization: Strong organization and time management skills are necessary.
    • Instructional Strategies: Understanding of instructional strategies and how to implement them is required.
    • Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate or bachelor's degree in education is preferred. Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
