    Requirements / Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION INCLUDE:

    • Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and six months experience operating a school bus.

    • Valid California Class B Commercial Driver License with passenger and school bus endorsements.

    • California Special Driver's Certificate to drive a school bus.

    • Valid medical certificate.

    • Valid First Aid Certificate or CHP equivalent certification.

    • Must be able to upgrade to Type 1, Air Brakes Endorsement if needed.
