TIELLO has partnered with a highly successful Specialty Contractor in the Greater Phoenix Area on their search for a Senior Estimator to work on Underground Utility projects.

Job Title: Senior Estimator - Underground Utilities (4+ year of experience)

Project Types: Underground Utilities, Storm, Sewer, Water, Gas, Electric, Telecommunications

Key Responsibilities:

• Able to perform all essential Senior Estimator job responsibilities
• Estimate and establish budgets and contract price
• Negotiate cost-effective subcontract and material purchases
• Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery
• Maintain the project schedule and budget
• Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable
• Work with Superintendent to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures
• Develop strong working relationships with Clientele and Contractors

Skills & Qualification:

• 5+ years estimating projects for a reputable underground contractor
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn, grow, and develop, with a team that wants to promote your success
