    Lucas, KY 42156 USA Description Barren River Lake State Resort Park is a water-lovers paradise surrounded by forested, rolling hills, and isdesiring to hire a Dining Room Supervisor, to supervise and manager the Driftwood Restaurant Dining Room, theHighlands Pub, and assist the Food Service Operations Manager II.


    The resort is located near Kentucky's famous cave area, which includes Mammoth Cave National Park, the longestcave system in the world

    The Driftwood Restaurant at Barren River Lake State Resort Park offers a variety and wide range of foods in awarm and cozy setting for the dining room guest as well as groups for meetings and meals.

    The DriftwoodRestaurant and Highlands Pub has a beautiful view that overlooks the Barren River Lake.

    The setting is idea for a group or a family outing for sharing a sandwich or a full-size gourmet meal.

    Greatfor fantastic meal or just discussion and relaxing for a meal. Great for sharing a mixed drink and snackswhile watching your favorite sports event.

    We are currently seeking a Dining Room Supervisor who is an individual that can take charge and oversee theDriftwood Restaurant Dining Room, Highlands Pub and assist the Food Service Operations Manager II.

    Thisposition would manage all dining room and pub employees, the inventory, complete scheduling, evaluateemployees, set cleaning schedules, ensure proper opening and closing procedures, ordering, plan promotions,training, managing banquets and working hand in hand with the park chef II, Food Service Ops Manager II, andpark manager in making the Driftwood Restaurant and the Highlands Pub the best that they can be.

    We are alsolooking for someone that can deliver the best customer service possible to our wonderful customers.

    Minimum Requirements

    EDUCATION:
     High school graduate.
    EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR

    SKILLS:
     Two years of food service experience in any of the following areas: full-service restaurant, state resort park, hospital, commercial dining room.

     Food service experience in any of the following areas will substitute for the education on year for year basis: full service restaurant, state resort park, hospital, or commercial dining room.
