Miami Pet Clinic is looking to add another member to the team

We are small animal clinic practice in Miami area seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic receptionist. Candidate for consideration MUST HAVE a minimum of 2 years of work experience. The ideal candidate should possess proficient knowledge of basic veterinary practices.

Compensation is dependent on experience and skill level. We are looking for a long term, enthusiastic, knowledgeable team member that can help us to continue to grow and provide high standard and quality veterinary medical service to our local community.

Veterinary Receptionist responsibilities include:

  • Provide top-notch customer service.
  • Being attentive to client and pet needs.
  • Provide pet owners with accurate information about pet wellness services, vaccination recommendations, routine surgeries, parasite prevention, etc.
  • Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments, admitting, and discharging patients, preparing medical records, and invoicing.
  • Computer skills, we are a paperless hospital, so applicants should be knowledgeable on basic computer programs.
  • Experience with Avimark is a plus but not required
  • Must be available to work weekends (Saturday)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $21.00 per hour
