- Schedule all physician office visits, lab and chemotherapy appointments.
- Schedule any needed appointments and/or referrals for existing patients as needed. Ensure patient records are sent to the appropriate outside agencies as needed for referrals.
- Provide Patient with any pre-appointment special instructions.
- Contact Hospital to schedule patient surgery time per physician instructions.
- Call patients to remind them of their appointments 48 hours prior to appointment time.
- Perform other clinic responsibilities as directed.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year medical office experience required
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing required.
- Previous surgery scheduling experience preferred.
