- Develop and implement strategies to recruit patients for clinical trials and registry programs
- Establish and nurture relationships with advocacy outreach organizations, patient support groups, and relevant stakeholders.
- Lead the development of patient journey mapping to visualize and understand the various touchpoints and challenges faced by patients.
- Implement real-world evidence (RWE) in clinical trial and registry studies by integrating data and insights derived from real-world settings.
- Raise awareness of UBC programs and foster collaboration with advocacy groups.
- Facilitate the development of patient, caregiver, and care partner advocacy outreach programs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand patient needs, challenges, and preferences throughout the healthcare journey.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting patient rights and healthcare access.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment and advocacy efforts through data analysis, feedback mechanisms, and performance metrics.
- Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on patient-centered initiatives and programs.
- Serve as the lead subject matter expert for disease state and the patient experience across therapeutic areas.
- Proven experience in patient recruitment and working with advocacy organizations (patient engagement and communication with advocacy groups, and/or non-profits)
- In-depth understanding of the patient journey, including the emotional, psychological, and logistical challenges faced by patients and their families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and advocacy organizations
- Proficiency in developing and executing patient recruitment and advocacy strategies
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to drive evidence-based recruitment and advocacy initiatives
- Bachelor's Degree
- Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel), SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat
- Willingness to travel up to 10%, including: client meetings, investigator meetings, trade shows, etc.
