    Job Overview

    Position Description

    We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

    In this role, you will examine behavioral health records electronically via a secure Web Portal and conduct comprehensive assessments in person with each Veteran.

    You will also be responsible for completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.

    The Licensed Psychologist is not involved in making disability determinations; this responsibility lies with the U.S. Veterans Administration, which utilizes the information documented in the DBQs as part of their decision-making process.

    It's important to note that this role solely involves performing Disability Assessments on Veterans. Treatment and medication prescription are not part of the job responsibilities.

    The Licensed Psychologist will typically review and assess an average of 3 to 4 Veterans per day.

    Successful candidates will be engaged as Independent Contractors.

    Part-Time Schedule - Thurs, Fri (8 am-5 pm)

    Please Note: This position requires in-person presence.

    Requirements

    MRG Exams seeks a Licensed Psychologist who:

    • Holds a Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA Accredited institution.
    • Possesses an active and unrestricted Psychology license.
