    Description

    MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a certified staffing agency, is looking for a quality MRI Tech for a contract with a top healthcare client.



    Requirements

    • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
    • Valid state radiology registration as required
    • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
    • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology

    Duties Responsibilities

    MRI technologists use their knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and MRI principles to operate MRI scanners efficiently and safely for disease and injury diagnosis.

    • Ensure safety of patients, staff, and visitors near MRI scanners
    • Position patients and coils on a table that slides inside the MRI scanner
    • Inject contrast media as needed
    • Set technical parameters, operate MRI scanners, review image data during scans
    • Recognize normal vs. abnormal images
    • Respond to life-threatening situations
    • Comply with regulations and professional guidelines
    • Deliver cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
    • Maintain a patient-focused environment of excellence
    • Ensure a safe work environment for staff and customers
