    Position Summary

    This position is responsible for the daily operations of the clinical simulation program and is responsible for collaboration with internal & external individuals and their respective organizations.

    The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating the program's equipment, facilities, personnel, and locations. They will be the primary contact, resource, trainer, and supervisor for the clinical simulation staff and program.

    Preferred Education:
    Master's degree or equivalent

    Related to one of the following fields, healthcare (i.e. nursing, EMS, allied health, etc.), education, or management.


    Preferred Experience:

    Experience in simulation-based education and training, evaluation of outcomes, patient safety, and implementation of innovative simulation-based education and training programs or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

    Program or project management.

    Experience in simulation or training environments.

    Experience in supporting instructional activities, preferably in health science education or higher education setting.

    Management and programming of simulation models highly desirable

    Healthcare licensure (i.e. RN, Paramedic, RRT, PT, CHSOS, etc).

    • Knowledge and application of instructional design principles, learning theory, online learning strategies, and technology integration.
    • Experience in using sound instructional design principles when interacting with faculty and staff to ensure effective skills training delivery.
