    We are looking for a high potential and highly motivated individual to join our Tax Department as a Property Tax Accountant in Glendale, CA

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaborate with the team to accurately input new properties in property tax management software and maintain changes monthly.
    • Prepare month-end journal entries and accruals and reconcile various allocation, liability and expense accounts.
    • Analyze monthly balances of property tax accounts to ensure accuracy.
    • Assist with monthly and quarterly variance analyses for management reporting.
    • Verify tax amounts on pre-close escrow statements and monitor properties to request payment or issue funds if re-proration is necessary.
    • Communicate with other departments and tax jurisdictions to find solutions to problems.
    • Support and cross train with others in the department.
    • Review processes for efficiency and improvement and assist in implementation and documentation.
    • Assist with ad-hoc reporting and special projects as needed.

    Compensation

    Base Pay Range: $ $105000

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of our total awards approach to compensation which is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses or incentives.
