    Join our dynamic team as a Systems Engineer - Gateway C&T System and become a vital contributor to support NASA as an Oceaneering Teammate on the JSC Engineering, Technology, and Science (JETS) II contract.

    As an integral part of our organization, you'll play a crucial role in the Avionics and Eneregy Systems section in the Engineering Department on the NASA JSC Engineering, Technology and Science II (JETS II) Contract.

    We are seeking someone with a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to owning their work, and providing superior quality.

    Someone in this role would typically have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and two (2) years of experience. International travel may be required. Straight time overtime, 9/80 work schedule (every other Friday off), and/or 1 day of telework per week may be available*
    The Systems Engineer Lead will be supporting the Gateway Avionic Communications and Tracking End-to-End Data Flow Architecture Sub-System, a critical sub-system of the Gateway Program which will return to the Moon


    • Support Gateway integrated analysis cycles by defining analysis objectives, reviewing analysis products, and developing program summary briefings
    • Refine interface control documents
    • Perform and review system level architecture trade studies and analyses that will influence the overall design and performance requirements
    • Work with team members and leads to identify risks, develop risk statements, and plan risk responses with mitigation strategies
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field and two (2) years of related experience; Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the space hardware field, such as mechanical and electrical system design, engineering drawings and sketches, and material selection
    BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering school and ten (10) years of related experience
