Cornerstone Recruiting is hiring for a Mechanical Designer to work for a local MEP firm in Forest Hill, MD.

Mechanical Designer

1-5 years' experience in commercial and retail HVAC and plumbing design that has or will obtain their FE and PE.

Our office also has opportunities with multi-family design, retail, commercial office, warehouse, telecom, government and limited institutional projects.

Mechanical Position Includes

Field surveys/document existing conditions
HVAC and ventilation calculations
HVAC and plumbing systems design utilizing AutoCAD
Attend client project meetings (scoping, kick-off, review, or coordination meetings, etc.).
Utilize project management skills such as coordination with other staff members, consultants, clients and contractors, etc.
Provide construction administration services including response to contractor RFI's, shop drawing review, construction site visits and punch outs
