Salary $65,367.12 yearly

The City of Groton is accepting applications for full time Police Officers for the Police Department.
Candidate must be 21 years of age or older on date of appointment, have no criminal record, and be a high school graduate or equivalent.
Candidate must possess and maintain as a condition of employment a valid motor vehicle operator's license and an excellent driving record.
Interested persons must have completed the written examination process with the Law Enforcement Council within the past year to be considered.
Applications are only accepted through website. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
The original application must be submitted to the prior to the closing date of Monday, July 31, 2023 at 11:59 PM.
Applicants must have a valid CHIP card or be prepared to participate in a Cooper standard agility assessment which requires completion of a medical clearance form that can be downloaded from this page.
The City of Groton reserves the right to extend the closing date for the submission of applications without additional notice or to re-advertise for the position.
