    DeLeers Construction is seeking an experienced residential carpenter to join our team. This unique position will float between our framing, siding, and finishing teams prepping projects for crews or finishing projects for crews. DeLeers Carpenters will work on both large and distinct residential projects and light commercial construction projects. You will never build the same house twice If you are looking for challenging projects and variety in your work, DeLeers is the team for you We are based out of DePere, WI however our work often takes us into beautiful Door County.

    What DeLeers Construction can offer you

    The Carpenter position is an hourly (non-exempt) role. The starting rate is posted at $28.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on your experience level. In addition to the base rate, travel pay, daily per diem for overnight travel, and overnight accommodations (if needed) are included.

    A day in the life of a Carpenter

    The Carpenters will work with their Crew Lead or Superintendent to put work into place at both residential and commercial construction projects. They will construct, erect, install, and/or repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other various materials. DeLeers Construction's projects are one-of-a-kind and will require teamwork and out of the box thinking to complete.

    • Good knowledge of the materials, methods, and tools involved in construction.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
    • Must be able to travel out-of-town for various job projects and stay overnight when required.
    • Hold, or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver's license prior to employment.
    • Walk, prolonged standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
    • Use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
    • Frequently lift and/or move 25+ pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
