Cloud Engineer (CDK with TypeScript)

Location: Charlotte, NC - Locals preferred - USC & GC only

Assignment Type: 6-month contract w/ potential to extend or convert

Max Pay Rate – upto $70/hr W2 (No Benefits)

FTE Salary Range: $120K - $140K

Requirements:

• Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer, specializing in cloud infrastructure management, CI/CD, and automation.
• Expertise in using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) with TypeScript for defining cloud infrastructure in a programmable way.
• Proficient in Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing CI/CD pipelines and integrating cloud deployment tools.
• Strong knowledge of YAML for infrastructure as code (IAC) scripting and configuration.
• Command over UNIX/Linux command line and scripting for system administration and deployment tasks.
• Practical experience in setting up and managing automation testing for Python projects, with a focus on ensuring code quality and performance.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and optimization.
