    Job Brief Overview

    Astrik is looking for a high caliber Director of Finance and Administration (DFA) to lead the company by putting into practice policies and goals of the organization/business objectives approved by the shareholders and board of the advisors.

    The DFA will play significant role in the profit-driven, an entrepreneurial attitude, leadership on the team performance, promotion of company success by meeting the mission and vision.

    DES will also work in the collaboration with all departments in promoting profit making through market competitions. The DES will be reporting directly to the Managing Director.
    Duties/Responsibilities

    • Leadership and Operational management
    Lead Company Employees in the alignment with Company vision, Mission and values
    Lead on the development of strategic planning and ensure growth of financial resources
    Coordinate the identification of the resources needed to grow and support excellence of company services.
    Coordinate the development of a weekly and monthly budget plan including the expenses for projects activities, and required resources.
    Ensure compliance with policies and procure manual for the implementation of finance and HR
    Steering the activities of the employees and ensuring the efficient utilization of all available recourses.
    Assure that the Company long-term strategy achieves its mission, and toward which it makes consistent and financial progress.

    Provide leadership in developing program, organizational and financial plans with the managers and staff, and Monitor the execution of the financial plans and policies authorized by the MD and Advisory Board.

    Identify, assess, and inform the Managing Director of internal and external issues/risks that may affect the Company
    Managing company resources both financial, Employees and Assets
    Monitor the day-to-day Employees records and maintain quality of documentations
    Carry any other activities that might be directed by the MD

    • Human resources planning and management
    Manage the Employees and steering effective and efficient performance to improve quality on the use of the set standards (QMS policies and procedures) for an effective operating organization
    Manage all company human resources issues and queries and submit the proposal the senior Management decisions
    Establish the staffing skills capacity requirements for staff performance and training delivery schedules, works in collaboration with Director of Training Centre
    Oversee the implementation of the human resources policies, procedures and practices including the development of job description for new staff in collaboration with line Manager
    Establish a positive, healthy and safe working environment in accordance with all appropriate HR policy and procedures.
    Maintain Employees records and documents, and ensure compliance with HR policy and procedures (review the staff weekly and monthly Time sheet, requested leaves, warning, etc.)

    • Financial planning and management
    Responsible for preparation of comprehensive budget to ensure that the Company operates within budget guidelines.
    Responsible for monitoring that Company maintaining sound financial practices and RRA guideline.
    Participates on the development of the fund raising plans to increase the funds of the organisation.
    Monitor and ensure that financial policy and procedure manual are strictly followed by all Employees
    Ensure that the organization complies with all legislation covering taxation and withholding payments.
    Responsible for arranging annual financial audit of the company accounting information and book keeping and financial statement
    Responsible for the management of the activities of all Staff in the Finance and Administration department
    Responsible for the advising the Managing Director and or Advisors Board on the financial issues and risks which my impact the Company performance
    Required Skills/Abilities
    Excellent leadership skills to coordinate financial services
    Excellent communication skills (English, and knowledge of French is added advantage)
    Self-motivated, initiative and creativity on addressing HR problems
    Financial skill and Ability to plan, multi-task and manage finances effectively
    Commitment, persuasive, convincing, and negotiation skills
    Advanced computer and database skills
    Proven experience in Financial and HR managerial skill (Financial Manager, Business Manager, Operation Manager etc)
    Education and Experience
    Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Business enterprises, Finances and operation
    At least 7 years of experience as Director for Finance and Administration /Operation Manager / Consultant on Finance and Human resources management
