Job title: Cyber Security Consultant (ALZ, Azure & AWS )

Location: Malvern, PA

Position: Long term contract

Job description:

• Client is developing a new Azure tenant as Alternate Landing Zone (ALZ) called 'ALZ on Azure' as part of its Cyber Resiliency program.
• The primary purpose of the new tenant is to act an alternate tenant to the current production tenant in the event of a catastrophic cyber event rendering the current tenant unusable.
• The primary domain on this new tenant is different from current vanguard production client domain.
• The new tenant is to be isolated and secured from current production and access to it is to be controlled through Okta.
• A select group of IT and Business users will use this tenant to support periodic testing for cyber resiliency preparedness and during a true cyber emergency.
• As part of MVP1, the new tenant will host VDIs that are connected to ALZ on AWS org that has already been set up.
• In future, the ALZ on Azure tenant is expected to host various business applications that act as interim solutions while the main tenant is being restored from a cyber-event.

Strategic significance:

• This is key initiative as part of the Cyber Resiliency initiative and we are able to proactively get engaged in the setting up on the environment alongside with AWS.
• We need to understand the technical configuration, steps and processes adopted for setting up the ALZ and configuration setup for IAM, Onboarding of applications, Resiliency testing scenarios, and so on.
