    The Account Manager, Client Engagement will directly support the companys efforts to attain revenue growth and profitability performance goals by enhancing the organizations effectiveness in obtaining and evaluating new business opportunities on a per client, per project basis. The role will be primarily responsible for generating prospective client leads, aggregating leads from various lead generation sources, gathering information through market research and other investigative practices, constructing financial models to assess prospective client and project potential, and providing data-driven recommendations that guide decisions toward alignment/adherence to the commercial strategy and direction. This role reports to the Director, Client Engagement and will work closely with cross-functional partners across Supply Chain, Formulation, Regulatory, Quality and Operations, serving as the primary point of contact for incoming clients throughout new product development and product launch. As such, the ideal candidate is detail-oriented with a proven track record of successfully managing complex project plans while also demonstrating the ability to communicate in a simplistic, confident, and persuasive manner with all project stakeholders.

    Essential duties & responsibilities

    • Develop relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including all current and prospective Goodier clients to deliver a consistent and seamless Client Engagement experience.
    • Initiate and conduct meetings with prospective clients to present Goodier capabilities, recommend solutions that meet prospective client needs, gain alignment on proposed services to be provided, and obtain commitments for new or expanded business.
    • Oversee the receipt and submission of project briefs and/or requests for product quotes from prospective clients, ensuring proposals for new projects are comprehensive and complete.
    • Manage the Client Engagement process to ensure that new business opportunities pursued by the organization are aligned with the Commercial Strategy and are optimally suited to meet the objectives of the organization.
    • Own the product development timelines and project plans for all new development across customer brands; keeping the client and project team members (including both internal and external project contributors and stakeholder) informed, aligned and on schedule.
    • Collect, analyze, interpret, including a thorough understanding of customer needs, market trends, competitive strengths and weakness, and opportunities and make recommendations from data to enable execution of projects.
    • Utilize research with product knowledge to work on the launch activation and go-to-market strategy of new products.
    • Research and present market trends, competitive insights and white space potential to Director and leadership teams to collaboratively identify and maintain a database of targeted growth opportunities.
    • Work closely with the Supply Chain team on sourcing packaging materials and making optimizations to existing packaging.
    • Own the collection and organization of critical research, testing, specs, artwork, etc.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Qualification requirements
    • Bachelors degree preferred, degrees in Business, Finance or related fields a plus.
    • 3-5 years of sales and/or project management experience required; experience in the manufacturing of cosmetics or consumer packaged goods industries is preferred.
    • Experience in product development in cosmetics and/or OTCs is a plus.
    • Understanding of cosmetic development timelines and regulatory pathways
    • Familiarity with the skin and haircare space and the competitive landscape
    • Must demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex project plans.
    • Team player able to adapt to changes and drive cross-functional efficiency.
    • Demonstrated flexible, proactive & self-motivated to deliver against accelerated timelines.
    • Proven ability to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships.
    • Organized, detail-oriented, hands-on approach.
    • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems
